Tools for T Kick-off

Last week (17 & 18 November), Friesland College and Learning Hub Friesland were happy to host our Tools for T project partners in Leeuwarden for the kick-off meeting of "Tools for becoming a T-Shaped professional"!

The two day meeting included the reveal of the project logo, discussing the work packages in detail, and also included a chance to test out VR equipment, which can be used for educational learning. The partners also enjoyed a tour of BlokhuisPoort, which was a prison until 2007, but is now a social hub that houses the public library, university classrooms, and creative spaces for entrepreneurs, as well as the office of Learning Hub Friesland.

The aim of Tools for T is to provide teachers with tools, assignments and instruments to better integrate citizenship education into their teaching activities. Teachers will no longer feel that citizenship & SDG is something extra, but that citizenship education is valuable and fun because of our tools, instruments and V-learning modules. In this way, we assume that citizenship & SDG in combination with hybrid learning projections gets more attention within education. This way impact will be bigger in learning.
